The Company
Mielie‑Moo was created from a simple problem with a very tiny cause: nothing in the pet market was made for the smallest paws. When Mielie Pip — a pocket‑sized Chikita with a giant personality — arrived home, her humans quickly discovered that “extra small” still wasn’t small enough. Collars were too big, clothing swallowed her whole, and winter warmth required… a cut‑off shirt sleeve. Cute, yes. Practical, no.
So the question became:
If the perfect fit didn’t exist, why not create it?
Mielie‑Moo now designs and hand‑crafts products made specifically for tiny pets — pieces that fit properly, feel comfortable, and celebrate the little characters who inspired them.
The brand is built by Des and Jaco Owen, inspired daily by their furry family:
Mielie Pip the cheeky Chikita, the cat sisters Mia (the boss) and Missy (the early‑morning alarm clock), and Moo Min (joining soon).
Every product is created with intention, tested by tiny paws, and stitched with love for the pets who deserve big comfort in small sizes.
